John Deere dealer Van Wall Equipment, which has 31 locations including one in Grinnell, Iowa, was recognized for its commitment to supporting the Grinnell community by being named 2023 Ag Business of the Year during the Grinnell Lions Ag Appreciation Day in August. The honor was reported in the Southeast Iowa Union.
Van Wall sells and services a wide range of John Deere equipment, including products specialized for agriculture, golf and turf, light construction, commercial and lawn and garden applications, the story said. The company's precision agriculture and solar energy teams provide complementary products and services intended to improve the profitability and competitiveness of its customers.
Van Wall Equipment purchased the Grinnell location in 2014, becoming the seventh John Deere dealership to be in Grinnell, the article said.
"We can't get to where we are today without loyal customers and excellent employees," said Brian Van Roekel, location manager, in the article. "Our employees put a lot of time in behind the scenes that a lot of people don't see. Without employees and customers, we are nothing."
