Construction Equipment Guide

Vernon L. Stup Company, of Frederick, MD, has announced that Jamie Rhoades has been hired as its full-line sales representative for the territories of Montgomery County, MD, and parts of northern Virginia.

Rhoades has more than 18 years of sales experience in the construction industry, beginning with a dealer in Frederick, MD, as well as running his own used equipment business — Rhoades and Lake, also of Frederick, MD — for three years.

Rhoades will be responsible for handling Vernon L. Stup’s Case, Daewoo, and Interstate trailer lines and initially will set his sights on bringing some of his JCB customers into the Case equipment fold.

“I sold JCB equipment for 18 years and it’s a great product, but with Vernon Stup, I hope to bring some of my customer base from JCB into the our lines,” he said.
