Highway Equipment & Supply Company, Harrisburg and Drums, PA, has been recognized by Volvo Construction Equipment North America Inc., with the Volvo CE Circle of Excellence 2000 Award. Highway Equipment & Supply Company, a dealer for Volvo Construction Equipment products since 1962, achieved the highest ranking amongst the Volvo CE dealer network for sales and marketing of Volvo CE products.

The Volvo Construction Equipment Circle of Excellence Program establishes and defines the standards by which Volvo CE dealers are measured and guided as they set and achieve marketing and operation goals. The program’s demanding standards and criteria provide complementary pathways toward continual improvement in customer satisfaction.

Sales and marketing is one of four major categories included in the program to provide continuing improvement in dealer business practices. Included in the overall category are such objectives as dealer share of market, inventory management, Volvo CE customer base expansion and identification, sales management and training, business planning and other performance-related goals.
