Tony Estes, senior vice president of sales for Brandeis Machinery & Supply Company, recently announced the appointment of Ron Weir as sales manager — southern division, which was effective on Jan. 1, 2001.

Weir began his career with Brandeis in 1974, and has served in various sales positions with his most recent being that of machine salesman.

In his new position, Weir will be responsible for sales management of the Louisville, Lexington, Paducah and Corbin, KY, branches.

Brandeis Machinery, a subsidiary of Bramco, LLC, has been a distributor of construction and mining equipment since 1908.
