Werk‑Brau Co. Inc. announced that it has officially joined the Open‑S Alliance, becoming the newest organization to support the global standard for automatic couplers.

With this partnership, Werk‑Brau strengthens its commitment to innovation — ensuring the attachments operators rely on every day remain compatible, reliable and ready for whatever the job demands. The Open‑S Alliance exists to bring clarity, safety and true compatibility to the attachment marketplace.

By supporting an open, global standard for fully automatic quick couplers, the alliance empowers operators, dealers, rental houses and contractors to work more freely — without the limitations of proprietary systems. Excavators equipped with Open‑S compliant couplers can interchange attachments from multiple manufacturers, improving jobsite efficiency, reducing downtime and expanding equipment capability.

As a company built on delivering high‑performance solutions for real‑world challenges, Werk‑Brau's decision to join the Open‑S Alliance is a natural extension of its mission.

"Werk‑Brau has always stood for innovation, integrity and giving our customers every advantage on the job site," said Trevor Ballinger, vice president. "By supporting the Open‑S standard, we're helping create a future where operators have more flexibility, more compatibility and more control over how they work. It's about doing what's right for our customers and for the industry."

For more than 75 years, Werk‑Brau has manufactured buckets, thumbs, couplers, land‑clearing tools, loader attachments and specialty solutions used across construction, demolition, forestry, utilities and material‑handling industries.

Known for American‑made durability and customer‑first support, the company continues to honor its mission and vision of "Building Better Lives" to manufacture products that enables their employees and customers to improve not only their environment but also their personal and loved ones' lives. At Werk-Brau their values were carefully crafted to support this continuous effort with the intent of supporting every person they impact.

The Open‑S Alliance continues to grow internationally, and Werk‑Brau is proud to join the manufacturers and partners advocating for greater transparency, safety and interoperability in heavy‑equipment attachments.
