Motorists traveling along the busy I-85 corridor between the Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Indian Trail Road exits have watched the new Wespro JCB facility in Norcross, Ga., take shape. T.D. Farrell Construction Inc., the general contractor, recently turned the building over to owner Wesley Scott.
The branch is currently in a "soft opening" phase, with fast-paced work underway to complete every aspect of operations as the facility transitions into a full-service JCB dealership.
"We're open and expect to be fully staffed and operational by mid-January, with an official grand opening soon after," said Scott.
Wespro JCB has already hired eight new employees for the Norcross location and plans to staff the facility with 15 to 20 team members once fully operational. The branch will be led by Craig Jacobs, with Bill Jomarron serving as service manager. Following a record year for JCB sales in Metro Atlanta, the company intends for this new location to continue that momentum while providing enhanced service coverage on both sides of the city.
"This beautiful, state-of-the-art facility demonstrates our commitment to building the JCB brand in Atlanta and fully supporting our current and future customers," Scott said.
Scott founded Wespro JCB in early 2022, opening the company's first location in northwest Atlanta just off I-285 and Veterans Memorial Parkway at 1501 Atlanta Industrial Way NW. Wespro JCB maintains a strong relationship with JCB North America, which is also headquartered in Georgia. The new Norcross location will serve as the company's headquarters, while the original site will become the West Atlanta branch. CEG
