         Tom Liegey (L), general superintendent, and his brother, Dave Liegey, foreman, both of Glenn O. Hawbaker, came from State College, Pa., to attend the event. Featured items during the event included the Merlo Roto 45.21 MCSS and the Merlo 120.10HM. The Link-Belt HTC-86110 was a prominent crane on display during the open house. Prem Swaminathan (L), manager of business development of Samson Ropes, and Jeffrey. L. Dobbs, president of J.L. Dobbs Inc. of Thorofare, N.J., discuss the KZ 100 synthetic rope. Tracy Salor, vice president of Bryce Salor & Son, Altoona, Pa., checks out the Link-Belt HTC-86110. Jay Sturm (L) and Jay Sturm Jr. of the Sturm Corporation, held the Crane 101 Tournament at Woods CRW. Jeff Sider (R), truck sales representative of Peterbilt, speaks with the crew from The Crane Man Inc. Jason Hauser, parts marketing representative, and Kelly Ghani, parts marketing supervisor, stand by the Link-Belt Cranes parts table. Attendees check out a Maeda mini-crawler crane. Everyone enjoyed a great meal and even homemade ice cream for desert. The Samson KZ 100 is a synthetic rope for mobile cranes. Its design incorporates a proprietary coating to mitigate UV degradation and is 80 percent lighter at similar strengths and its braided, torque-neutral construction significantly reduces load spin.
