ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a worker was killed by a bulldozer at a Tampa Bay area construction site.

St. Petersburg police say 27-year-old Justin H. Smith was working at the site of a future apartment complex Wednesday morning when the reversing bulldozer struck him. He died at the scene.

A news release says no charges were being filed against the driver.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration was contacted to perform its own investigation.
