The Wirtgen WR 250 is the highest-performance machine of the new WR generation. Due to its high engine output and optimal traction, the WR 250 can work its way effortlessly through heavy soils or existing failed pavements, homogeneously mixing or performing in-place cold recycling with dry lime or dry cement, or lime or cement slurry, or asphalt emulsion, according to the manufacturer.

When equipped, the WR 250 also can perform in-place foamed asphalt or foamed bitumen recycling of existing failed pavements.

With an engine output of 766 hp, the WR 250 functions at a width of 7 ft. 11 in. (2.4 m) and at a depth of up to 22 in. (56 cm) through difficult soils or pavements.

The cutting drum design is tailored to the high performance of the WR 250, resulting in exceptional mixing quality and speeds. Using the sensitive multifunction joystick on the right armrest, the operator can simply and comfortably control all important base functions.

Automated processes, such as automatic lowering and raising of the milling and mixing rotor, the ergonomically designed workplace, and the reverse assistant also provide enhanced productivity.

A mobile, glassed-in, large-capacity cab, work zone camera system, and 90-degree rotating driver’s seat ensure the best visibility conditions of both the WR 250 and the construction site.

The WR 250 is the largest machine of the new WR generation, which merges high-performance, economic efficiency and simple handling into a productive package, according to the manufacturer.
