Wylie Manufacturing has expanded its line of “Express” water wagons with the introduction of an 800-gal. (3,028 L) model. The EXP-800-S joins the 500- and 1,000-gal. (1,890 and 3,780 L) models for a more versatile lineup.
“Express” water wagons are great for controlling dust, compacting building sites, providing water for concrete saws, watering trees and vegetation, and fighting grass fires. Rental companies and contractors appreciate the rugged construction and user-friendly design of the Wylie “Express” water wagon.
The EXP-800-S “Express” water wagon features an 800-gal. elliptical leg tank, adjustable height 2.31-in. (5.9 cm) ball hitch and a 6-in. (15 cm) channel iron frame. The DOT approved trailer has a GVWR of 9,400 lb. (4,264 kg), which means that the operator is not required to have a CDL.
New features include tandem drop spring axles for a lower center of gravity and “Bearing Buddy” hubs making lubrication much easier. Other standard features include a 4-hp (2.98 kW) Honda engine and a 2-in. (5 cm) Tsurumi pump, galvanized suction and discharge manifolds, pressure and gravity flow spigots, and a galvanized spray bar with brass nozzles.
The EXP-800-S is equipped with all the extras to make any job easier. A 25-ft. (7.6 m) fire hose and nozzle apply water to confined areas while the spray bar covers up to a 25-ft. (7.6 m) swath. A 25-ft. (7.6 m) pressure hose and spray gun is for smaller jobs or for supplying cooling water to a concrete saw. A 20-ft. (6 m) suction hose can be used with the quick coupled screen to pull water from ponds or tanks, or attach to a fire hydrant with a quick coupled adapter. An anti-siphon fill is standard equipment on the EXP-800-S.

The new EXP-800-S provides greater capacity in a compact design for increased profitability and productivity, according to the manufacturer.
