CAM Hosts Michigan Construction, Design Trade Show

The Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) held its Michigan Construction & Design Trade Show at the MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit on Feb. 6. Michigan’s construction owners, contractors, architects and engineers attended the day-long event which coincided with the Association’s 127th Annual Meeting.

The event featured breakout sessions and seminars offered by CAMTEC, the education and training division of CAM. Among the sessions offered were a MIOSHA update, sessions on safety procedures, financing and other incentives for energy efficient projects, and energy audits. Attendees also visited the show exhibit area where they met with industry product, equipment and services providers who were available to provide information about their products and services. The associations’ Green Building Awards and Construction Project of the Year Award also were presented.
