Caterpillar offers a family of articulated truck bare chassis to support applications such as water trucks, high capacity waste, fuel and lube, service/maintenance trucks, hook lifts and other body options. Cat dealers can order bare chassis configurations through their normal channels. Original Equipment Manufactures (OEMs), Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturers (AEMs) and other body builders who produce and assemble custom bodies can leverage these chassis and thus provide solutions to end-user customers, dealers and distributors around the globe. The bare chassis configurations can be ordered through Caterpillar OEM Solutions Group or via the global network of Cat dealers.

Articulated truck bare chassis include standard and long rear frame length configurations. To assist with configuration and body assembly, the articulated truck bare chassis can be ordered with and without hoist cylinders. OEM Solutions Group provides application and integration assistance, helping determine the best solutions for mounting a variety of tools and attachments.

Parts and service support is available through the worldwide network of Cat dealers.
