Construction Equipment Guide

The Kawasaki 67.1-kilowatt (90 hp) wheel loader model 50ZIV-2 is now equipped with a completely redesigned cab that includes all the features of the larger class Kawasaki wheel loaders.

New standard upgrades to the cab include tinted wrap-around front and back windows, access from either side of the cab, side sliding windows, seven-way adjustable seat with headrest and adjustable armrests and AM/FM cassette stereo. The roomier cab is also viscous mounted to reduce vibration and sound levels. The result is a 67.1-kilowatt (90 hp) loader with superior operator comfort and convenience.

Gary Bell, Kawasaki Machinery Corp. of America, said, “The 50ZIV-2 now offers all of the cab enhancements found on our larger machines. These features greatly reduce operator fatigue and improve the operator’s field of view, major factors in productivity and safety.”

Equipped standard with a 1.3-cubic-meter (1.7 cu. yd.) bucket, the 50ZIV-2 offers a rugged base with large centerpins and bearings and heavy lift arms. The Z bar linkage gives the Kawasaki 50 ZIV-2 more than 5,897 kilograms (13,000 lbs.) of breakout force.

The Kawasaki 50ZIV-2 wheel loader features torque proportioning differentials, four-wheel wet disc brakes and linkage.
