Budrovich Contracting has promoted Darren Jaycox to the position of president of the crane rental company and Eric Struckhoff to the position of vice president/senior estimator, effective Oc. 1, 2006.
Jaycox started with Budrovich in 1996 as a crane estimator. In 2000, he was promoted to the position of vice president crane rental.
His duties included strategic planning, estimating, managing the estimating and operator staff, crane scheduling, and customer service and support.
In his new capacity, Jaycox will additionally be responsible for all long term strategies and fiscal planning of the company.
Like Jaycox, Eric Struckhoff joined Budrovich in 2001 as a crane estimator.
Struckhoff’s responsibilities have included customer relationship development, crane estimating and bidding, as well as job-site supervision. His new responsibilities will include additional customer development and increased operational initiatives.
Jeff Budrovich will continue to lead the Budrovich Companies as chief operating officer.
The Budrovich Companies specialize in crane rental; site utility excavation; mass and finish grading; and residential, commercial and industrial land development.
Budrovich employs approximately 150 skilled operators, laborers and teamsters in the St. Louis metropolitan region, using approximately 90 pieces of excavation and grading equipment and 30 mobile hydraulic cranes.
