Abrasion is the leading cause of hydraulic hose failure. Cat XT ES (Enhanced Spiral) hose has a cover that is formulated and manufactured by Caterpillar to provide as much as 20 times more abrasion resistance than industry-standard hoses. Cat XT ES hose works at half of the SAE bend radius without sacrificing cold flex capability.
