Crane Rental Corporation Completes Sixth Round of Operator Certification

Construction Equipment Guide

Crane Rental Corporation, which has been based in Orlando, FL, since 1960, has completed its sixth-round of Crane Certification of Operators at its Davenport facility in Polk County.

This recent round of testing has allowed its operators to complete practical use skills on various crane types and to be graded on their performance during the cranes’ operation.

Crane Rental’s commitment to this testing was evident when the company brought in and completely assembled one of its electric tower cranes. This marks the first time in the state of Florida that the use of an electrical tower crane has been part of a crane operators testing forum.

Alan Ashlock, president of Crane Rental Corporation and former president of the Crane Owners Council, believes these continued investments of providing a safe and controlled environment for their crane operators to train in is one more positive, safe step in the construction industry.
