Don Smock Auction Company held its 17th Annual Snowball Construction Equipment Auction at the company’s complex in Pendleton, Ind., Dec. 11.

Up for bid was equipment from Ensley Excavating, and several local equipment dealers as well as equipment from other local contractors and bank and financial companies.

Highlights of the auction included a 2007 Cat 304CR mini-excavator for $24,000, a 2004 Deere 310G loader for $27,000, a 2005 Case CX160 excavator for $30,000, a 2005 Deere 750J LGP crawler for $70,000 and a 2005 Cat D6N XL crawler for $100,000.
