Extec, Caterpillar Enter Into Joint Venture

Extec Screens and Crushers Ltd., the UK-based manufacturer of screening and crushing equipment, has announced a joint venture with Caterpillar Inc. The joint venture will initially comprise of the supply of engines for the Extec brand of tracked crushers.

Announcing the deal, Ian English, Extec’s operations director stated, “Extec and Caterpillar are two of the leading brands in the construction industry. Both offer the customer a guarantee of production and profitability in their own right. Combined we are guaranteed world beaters. The arrangement for Caterpillar to supply Extec is seen as the beginning of a long-term working relationship.”
