Frey & Sons Auctioneers held an absolute, unreserved auction in Lodi, Ohio, on Aug. 22. The auction was conducted to sell off the equipment assets of Baker Sand Inc., due to the closure of its pit.

Rain did little to dampen the spirits of auction attendees on hand to look for bargains. Highlights of the auction included a Manitowoc 4600 clam/ dragline crane, Cat wheel loaders, excavators and dozers, along with additional aggregate equipment and transportation vehicles. The auction drew bidders from Ohio and surrounding states as well as enthusiastic online bidding.
