Gibson Industrial Services has merged with Southern Industrial Constructors/Southern Crane.
In addition to its optical alignment, millwright/rigging and plant relocation services, the Kings Mountain, N.C.-based Gibson Industrial brings to the newly combined organization long-standing customer relationships nationwide, along with added coverage in the Charlotte metro/I-85 business corridor area.

Gibson brings to the Southern Industrial partnership the following specialties:
• Optical alignment services. The company performs highly specialized millwright work for jobs that require close tolerances for roll, high-speed coupling or precision-bore alignments.
• Millwright/rigging. The company’s expertise starts at the foundation and ends with all machine components leveled, aligned and fully assembled.
• Plant relocation. Its capability ranges from a single piece of machinery to complete turnkey plant relocation involving all disassembly, match-marking, transportation to the new location, reassembly, and all related piping, wiring, painting and foundations. The company has installation and relocation experience in all types of manufacturing and process industries, which augments Southern Industrial’s existing strengths.
