On Dec. 4, the Illinois Equipment Distributors (IED) held its membership meeting and Christmas reception. Approximately 50 members and guests were registered for the event.

Tom Smith, IED President, National Lift Truck Inc., welcomed all who gathered to recognize and thank the outgoing members of the board of directors for their service, and to enjoy the reception.

Smith took the opportunity to thank Hugh Goulding, executive secretary of IED, who is retiring in January 2016.

Smith called upon incoming president Adam Tschetter, Patten Industries, to take over the meeting. Tschetter thanked Smith for his service to IED, and presented him with the President’s Plaque for 2015.

Tschetter introduced the 2016 Board who will assume their new duties in January 2016 including:

Vice President Wally Savage, Roland Machinery Co.; Treasurer Joe DePiano, Interstate Power Systems Inc.; First Year Director Tom Smith, National Lift Truck; Second Year Director Tom Novak, Martin Implement Sales Inc.; Lisa Tschetter, executive secretary; and Associate Director Jeff Schmitt, Cedric Spring & Associates.
