Crane Institue Plans ’Train the Trainer’ Programs
Crane Institute of America, Sanford, Fla., will feature “The Complete Package” at Booth 2973 in the Gold Lot at ConExpo-Con/AGG, March 4 to 8, 2014. To make it easier for corporate trainers to maintain ongoing training at their facilities, Crane Institute has introduced a new train-the-trainer combination program called “The Complete Package.” In two weeks’ time, trainers can become a Crane Institute of America certified instructor and an authorized practical examiner for Crane Institute Certification (CIC), a nationally accredited, OSHA-recognized certification for crane operators, riggers and signalpersons....

The largest self-erecting crane in the Potain range, the Igo T 130, will be shown to guests at next year’s ConExpo 2014. Its 164 ft. Manitowoc to Launch New Crawler Cranes at ConExpo

Police to Talk to Crane Operator at Brazil Stadium
SAO PAULO (AP) Brazilian police planned to talk to the operator of the crane that collapsed and killed two workers at a stadium set to host the 2014 World Cup soccer tournament opener.
