IronPlanet has relocated its corporate headquarters from 4695 Chabot Drive to 3825 Hopyard Road in Pleasanton, Calif. The new space offers 19,200 sq. ft. of contiguous space.

"We are excited to move our headquarters to an updated, larger space," said Doug Feick, senior vice president of corporate development and general counsel, IronPlanet. "The new office has added about 6,000 square feet, which enables our employees to work in a more collaborative environment and allows for potential expansions to our business in the future."

Since IronPlanet pioneered online equipment auctions over a decade ago, the company has sold more than $3 billion of used equipment. With the recent launch of TruckPlanet, an online marketplace for buying and selling used commercial trucks, the company has expanded its offering with a flexible online marketplace that meets the specific needs of the over-the-road commercial truck industry.

Focusing closely on the layout, lighting and configuration of the space, IronPlanet designed its new headquarters to better accommodate employee needs. The open design offers individual work stations and collaborative space, such as conference rooms equipped with technology, to encourage innovation. The contiguous office also allows employees to communicate more easily, driving improved productivity and enhanced service.

"Our employees are embracing the new space and are excited to call it the new home of IronPlanet," added Feick.
