Jeff Martin Auctioneers Inc. held a successful Permian Basin Oilfield Absolute Auction in Midland, Texas, on June 17. This was Jeff Martin Auctioneers first time to venture out west in that area and will not be the last time, according to the company. The next auction in Midland, Texas, will be Sept. 16.

This absolute auction was held for J & L Trucking, BC Operating, and a number of other area contractors who recently decided to liquidate excess equipment inventory due to job completion. A total of 200 plus buyers participated in live and online bidding, some from as far as Pennsylvania, Virginia and South Carolina.

Highlights from the auction include several day cab road tractors, dump trucks, Travis trailers and numerous vacuum trailers.

Jeff Martin Auctioneers next auction will be the Late Summer Public Auction held at the indoor and climate controlled facility in Brooklyn, Miss., July 29 through Aug. 1. This auction will feature construction and farm equipment, heavy trucks, heavy trailers, attachments, vehicles, office and cafeteria equipment, and much more.
