The LJ Companies, headquartered in Rhode Island, has added Frank Brian Dempsey, Scott Mogavero and Frank Bonzani as territory managers of Crane Service and Rentals.

Mogavero, of Peabody, Mass., was recently employed with Coastal Crane Company, headquartered in Quincy, Mass. Prior to joining LJ, Dempsey was sales manager of AmQuip Corporation’s New England division and has more than 25 years of progressive experience within the crane and hoist rental and service industry in New England. He has held senior sales positions with Capco Steel, NES Rentals, Shaughnessy Crane and most recently, AmQuip. Bonzani previously had been a crane operator with Local 478, International Union of Operating Engineers, most recently working for Baier Construction.

Dempsey, Mogavero and Bonzani will initially be reporting to Joshua Wilbur, director of field operations for LJ.

According to the company’s vice president & COO, Paul Fioravanti, “We are very pleased to have Brian, Scott and Frank joining LJ. The addition of these gentlemen is consistent with our business plan of offering our customers the best equipment and the best people in the industry. Through the addition of Brian Dempsey, Scott Mogavero, and Frank Bonzani, LJ plans to expand its presence in the Massachusetts and Connecticut market areas and within the mobile crane, tower crane, and crawler crane market segments. This change will be seamless for customers and they can look forward to gaining access to LJ’s larger fleet and expanded capabilities throughout North America. The company has more than two dozen additional pieces of equipment on order for 2008 and 2009 to better serve an ever-expanding list of customers in the northeast and throughout North America. We plan to continue our expansion by acquiring and integrating other competitors which share our strategic objectives and those we believe share our perspectives on the industry. LJ is one of the fastest growing crane rental, crane service and specialized transportation providers in the northeast, and manages large scale construction services projects for a wide variety of North American contractors.”
