Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers held a multi-million dollar auction in Atlanta on March 31.
The sale attracted more than 1,800 bidders from 41 countries, including 48 U.S. states and all ten Canadian provinces, who were registered to participate in the auction either on site or online. More than three-quarters (77 percent) of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers from as far away as the United Arab Emirates, Colombia, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and the Cayman Islands.
More than 1,600 equipment items and trucks were on the block, including hydraulic excavators, crawler tractors, loader backhoes, skid steer loaders, wheel loaders, cranes, truck tractors and more.
