More than 2,100 bidders participated online and in person May 18 and 19 at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’s multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Orlando, Fla.
Bidders came from 54 countries, including 49 U.S. states and 10 Canadian provinces. Approximately 65 percent of the equipment was sold to buyers outside the state, from as far away as Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Online bidders purchased approximately 25 percent of the equipment sold.
The auction featured more than 2,200 equipment items and trucks, including wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, articulated dump trucks, crawler tractors, motorgraders and truck tractors.
