More than 2,890 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Houston, Texas, on June 18.

Bidders came from 50 countries, including 49 U.S. states. More than 50 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Belize, Australia and the United Arab Emirates. Online bidders purchased 46 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

In total, more than 3,050 equipment items were sold in the auction.
