More than 850 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Myrtle Beach, S.C., on Aug. 26.

Bidders came from 35 countries, including 47 U.S. states. More than 78 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Guatemala, Panama and Vietnam. Online bidders purchased 21 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

In total, more than 600 equipment items were sold in the auction.
