person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Raleigh-Durham, N.C., on June 24.

Bidders came from 44 countries, including 47 U.S. states. More than 80 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as the United Kingdom, Singapore and Vietnam. Online bidders purchased more than 73 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

In total, more than 870 equipment items were sold in the auction, including crawler tractors, compactors, motorgraders, excavators, loader backhoes and more.
