More than 1,650 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’s multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Raleigh-Durham, N.C., on Dec. 18.

Bidders came from 43 countries, including 47 U.S. states. Approximately 85 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Egypt, Jordan and Panama. Online bidders purchased 77 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

The auction featured almost 700 equipment items, including hydraulic excavators, crawler tractors, wheel loaders, skid steer loaders, headers, combines and more. CEG
