Roy Teitsworth Inc. held its annual Empire Farm Days auction Aug. 9 in Seneca Falls, N.Y.

The sale was a record breaker for Roy Teitsworth. More 2,000 registered bidders vied for more than 2,000 lots. In total, more than 5,000 people were in attendance.

“Last year’s sale was a record breaker and this year we had 300 lots more than the previous year,” said Roy Teitsworth. “Using three auction rings it still took us 10 hours to sell all of the equipment. This sale is a real testament to our buyers. Late in the sale, we had a rainstorm with over one inch of rain and when the selling started up again the bidding was still as strong at the end of the sale as it was at the beginning.”
