Since Stephenson Equipment was established in 1957, it has always been driven to keep its customers satisfied. Stephenson’s new crane shop building is one more step it has taken to satisfy its customers’ needs.

“Our new shop has a 40 foot ceiling height with four 100 foot. deep bays, a 15 ton two hoist overhead crane spanning the entire 12,000 square foot building that features radiant floor heat. We also constructed a new 4,000 square foot test pad giving us the ability to better inspect and test a crane after repairs have been completed,” said Dale Heiner, VP of service operations

“There is something that was said to me many years ago by Stephenson Equipment owner Dennis Heller — Always try to do what is right, for our customers and for Stephenson Equipment. If what we do benefits both, then it is the right thing to do. This new crane shop reminds me of that statement.

“The new shop benefits our customers, the manufacturers we represent and Stephenson by shortened repair times and improved quality due to the ability to perform more repairs within the shop safely versus outside repairs in varying weather and safety conditions.”

The new shop is still staffed by Stephenson’s technicians. Stephenson employs more than 125 customer focused employees across its seven locations in Pennsylvania and New York.
