When it comes to long construction times, one church in Barcelona stands tall. After 134 years of faithful work to build the masterpiece, it seems that the end is finally in sight for the work done on the Sagrada Familia.
Though the original architect - Antoni Gaudí - died over 90 years ago, aside from a pause during the Spanish Civil War, construction has been constant.
What's even more amazing is that the work was continued without government funding, being sustained for decades by private donations.
The Church is expected to be completed in 2026. The video below shows the current state of the church and its projected final state.
